Agricultural Resources and Environment The Department aims at training high-level inter-disciplinary talents with a good command of chemical, biological sciences, environmental science fundamentals, agricultural environment investigation and planning, agricultural environment monitoring and administration, agricultural product quality monitoring, soil and water resource analyzing skill, and with capabilities of fulfilling responsibilities in work related to Agricultural Resources and Environment. Main courses include An Introduction to Resources and Environment, Agricultural Chemical Analysis, Soil Science, Plant Nutriology, Environment Monitoring, Environmental Pollution Control, Agricultural Resources Utilization, Plant Physiology, Biochemistry, Agriculture Information Technology, etc. Environmental science This major is to cultivate students to have a solid chemistry, biology, and ecology and environment science knowledge. Through the study, this profession aims at training students to master the basic theory, the elementary knowledge and the basic skill of environmental science and to grasp the new developments and achievements of environmental science. It also aims at cultivating the students to learn the new developments and achievements of environmental science. One of the other aims is to make the students gain the ability of self-renewal about new knowledge. The preliminary scientific research training makes students master some abilities of the experimental design and scientific research. Try to cultivate students to handle most of the works in the environmental protection bureau and other departments at all levels. Educate the students to be the complex high-level professionals and technical persons who can be engaged in environmental monitoring, environment management, environmental planning, environmental engineering and environmental science and the adjacent majors. Main courses include ecology, environmental science, environmental chemistry, environmental science conspectus, environmental biology, environmental monitoring, environment engineering, environmental quality and evaluation, environment management and environmental law, environmental information system, etc. Land Resources Management Through the study, the graduates should get the knowledge and ability in the following: master the solid foundation of theory and skills on land resources management. Learn about the knowledge in land resources investigation, evaluation, planning, utilization, management, and land economy, policies and regulations. Master the modernization technical means and methods of land resources management. Cultivating the students to be complex senior professional and technical personnel who can be competent the jobs at all levels in land management department, schools, research institutions and land assessments, real estate companies. Main courses include and resources science, land resources investigation, land cartography, cadastration, land information system, land resources evaluation, land development and management, land policy and regulations, land economics, land planning and utilization. Geographical Information System This major is to cultivate students develops in moral, intellectual and physical roundly. The study allows the students to master a solid computer science, geographic information and cartography, remote sensing technology, agriculture, and other aspects of the basic theories, basic knowledge and basic skills. Make the students to have the generous basic knowledge, high comprehensive quality and innovative spirit and practical ability. Cultivate the students to be the application-oriented, complex high-level professionals who can be engaged in the application of geographic information systems for research, technological development, production management and administrative work in the field such as agriculture, urban, regional resources, environment, transportation, population, housing, land, infrastructure and planning, management, etc. Main courses include natural geography, economic geography, cartography, introduction and technology of remote sensing, database technology, geographic information system principle, geographic information system design and application, global positioning system, urban geographical information system, computer network technology, management science, resources science, environmental ecology. Practaculture Science This major is to cultivate the professionals to have the basic theories, basic knowledge and basic skills in green space and forage grass science. After the technical study, graduates can work in departments of agriculture and other relevant trades or engage in grassland production and protection technology and design, promotion and development, operation and management, teaching and scientific research. Graduates can be engaged in various types of lawn and management of plant building, all sorts of breeding of lawn and grass land planning and design for parks, garden flowers cultivation and excellent forage grass breeding, artificial forage cultivation, processing, artificial forage grass seed production and many other works on technology and management. Main courses include lawn science, the grass lawn resources science, the grass management, urban ecological environment science, the green garden city planning, garden flower science, ornamental science, grass planting and management of playground, golf course management, the lawn management, artificial forage fostering, forage nutrition, forage resource botany, etc. |
